Qualification At least 4 years experience in one of the following areas:

- Integrated solid waste management;

- Waste minimization, waste collection, waste treatment, recovery, composting, recycling and land filling;

- Hazardous waste, pollution control, eco-efficiency, environmental policy;

- E-Waste;

- Waste management facilities: all types of landfills, waste transfer stations, compost and sorting plants;

- Design and operation of landfill sites;

- Implementation and operation of municipal and industrial waste collection, transportation, treatment and disposal systems;

- Support in the extension and improvement of municipal waste services;

- Specifications & procurement for street sweeping, waste collection and waste transport equipment;

- Preparation of tender documents;

- Waste management institutional strengthening/capacity building;

- Planning, strategy, legal and policy development (national and regional maters plans) ;

- Waste management policy analysis and financial mechanisms;

- Management information systems and financial management systems.
