Public Policy & Planning Expert

Qualifications :

- Graduate or Post graduate in Economics, Public Policy

- Excellent report writing skills

- Data analysis capability, data analytics experience in tools such as SQL/Power Query/ Alteryx is desirable

- Very good knowledge of Macro-economic concepts such as GSDP, fiscal policy, monetary policy, etc.

- Excellent strategic analysis skill and good communication skills

- Must have experience in any ONE of following sectors Tourism, Agriculture, Planning, Urban Development

- Must have minimum 3 years of experience.

Job Description:

- Liaison between the funding agency, the State Government Departments, Government of India Ministries and implementing agencies in project design, appraisal and procurement processes

- Draft Policy, procedures and guidelines in following key sectors - Tourism, Agriculture, Urban Development, Sports, Finance and other key citizen facing department

- Draft referendums, DO letters and other key communication matters for Senior Officials at Government of India on behalf of State Governments

- Draft speeches of CM,CS and senior Government officials for key events such as Budget, Independence Day, etc

- Collate documents from various sources and draft report on project progress to senior officials

- Draft presentations for key stakeholders

- Analysis of economic data from various sources to derive insights such as financial progress, impact of implementations, etc
