Process Automation and Digitization Expert

- Company is looking for an experienced Master Black Belt(DFSS) for a cross-functional role to conceptualize, design and create the best user experience for customers of a logistics client, transforming out of routine operations to an advanced product.

- You must have >15 years of experience with specific inclination to design thinking and building technology-based design blueprints, envisioning an evolved customer journey. The role will also demand conducting market research to facilitate creation of the digital roadmap and complement product decisions.

- You must have knowledge of the logistics industry and how technology is helping build a successful supply-chain ecosystem globally. The role also involves an end-to-end assessment of the clients logistics setup to reengineer a digital transformation and subsequent execution based on the implementation roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead design and implementation of a state-of-the-art user experience platform and will be responsible for defining and designing interfaces, experience and processes across multiple platforms using design thinking principles

- Develop blueprint of a revamped customer journey, keeping all technology driven touchpoints in mind

- Collaborating with multi-functional teams across the business to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, experience and processes

- Conduct market research and usability studies to ascertain the right user experience for logistics industry

- Define future digital roadmap by understanding as-is processes, and visualizing to-be processes to formulate a digital transformation journey

- Conduct thorough technical assessments and implement predictive engineering methodologies using DFSS tools/techniques to build an efficient product

- Train and mentor engineers on Lean practices (DFSS, Lean Product Development)

- Plan, execute and drive adoption of the change in the organization

Skills & Experience:

- 15+ years of experience as a Master Black Belt, applying DFSS principles for Six Sigma, Design Thinking and continuous process improvements

- Understanding of Lean Product Development processes for system engineering

- Experience with Process Analysis, Design, and Implementation, Business and Technical requirements, Problem- Solving, and System(s) Testing, including UAT and Bug fixes

- Research skills for determining latest industry trends and technologies for product decisions

- Knowledge/prior experience of working in the logistics industry

- In-depth knowledge and experience working with agile product development processes

- Proven project management and leadership skills

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and facilitation skills

- Strong strategic and tactical planning skills

Education/Qualifications:

- Masters in IT, Engineering or design with good academic records from a reputed institute

- Certified Master Black Belt (DFSS)
