Job Description : CORE SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT :&nbsp; - Work with the Product team to on the development and customization of the core credit bureau system to deliver product requirements - Working with the systems and the product team to create appropriate technical scoping of projects in line with business requirements - Managing the development budget optimally to ensure that the required development / customization is delivered though the most appropriate cost structure - Applying appropriate project management techniques to manage the projects on hand, track them effectively and ensure timely delivery - Working with the business and product teams to ensure that the customization / development test plan is appropriately in place VALUE ADDED PRODUCTS AND PERIPHERAL SYSTEMS :&nbsp; - Work with the management team to decide on the optimal plan to develop functionality as specified at optimal costs &nbsp; DATA MATCHING : &nbsp; - Working with the internal team and an appropriate vendor base to create India specific data dictionaries for the purpose of refining the data cleaning and data matching going forward to ensure sustained strategic advantage Candidate Profile: - Experience of 11-14 years in the systems / development team of a large bank / financial institution - Working knowledge of a Core credit bureau system and exposure to value added products would be desirable - Experience in handling large projects with a geographically distributed development team - Knowledge and active use of project management skills - Active involvement with projects involving large data sets would be desirable - Involvement in the outsourced development of software and the knowledge of vendors in the Indian markets - Strong working knowledge of overall business management principles - Strong leadership skills - Strong working knowledge of multiple computing platforms and platform specific tools - Working knowledge of Human Resource policies and procedures - Advanced knowledge and experience with software development methodologies - Strong knowledge of the applications and solutions subordinates develop and support
