Experian - Project Manager (4-8 yrs)
- Lead million dollar projects or provide project support and leadership on multiple projects
- Manage projects to achieve milestones. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Establish and maintain cross-divisional communication networks to share learning. Identify, escalate and resolve problems. Conduct regular reviews and produce updates. Control scope of projects
- Complete timely and accurately the required internal and external project reporting (including time spent and cost)
- Issue project management status reports highlighting risk areas and overall progress
- Track against contracts, schedules or statements of work and advise when invoicing points are due. Advise management and finance of revenue recognition points
- Obtain acceptance certificates or project sign off for each milestone or schedule
- Adhere to all PMO project management processes and procedures are adhered
- Define project requirements by thoroughly researching available alternatives when a concept is assigned. Use business knowledge and experience and contact all relevant internal and external stakeholders (including clients and potential suppliers)
- Identify required resources and request type of resource from relevant resource pools. Negotiate and acquire agreed resource (e.g. people, hardware, processing time) to enable timely project delivery
- Effective use of allocated resource to produce deliverables
- Effect seamless go-live handover with full communication of changes. Conduct post-implementation review and make provision for ongoing support
- Conduct and report on post project budget review, actual versus forecast
- Prepare, negotiate, monitor and control budget of assigned projects to ensure expenditure is in line with agreed business case
Experience :
- Relevant experience of 4-8 years
- Knowledge and extensive experience of project management methodology and tools including software
- Knowledge of computer systems and processes and PC desktop applications
- Knowledge of EDA products, solutions and operations
- Previous experience working in financial services environment
- Ability to interpret technical features into commercial benefits
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Strong ability to facilitate change and influence a wide variety of stakeholders
