Digital Media Supervisor

- The Digital Media Supervisor will provide strategic direction to assigned accounts and identify appropriate paid search and programmatic solutions to meet client needs. He/she will be responsible for campaign planning, optimization strategies, and performance success for a set of client relationships. This position is client-facing and reports to the Media Director.

- A successful person in this role is curious in an analytical way, ambitious with strategy, knowledgeable about programmatic advertising, and passionate about Google's media capabilities.


- Develop strategy in partnership with media director, and collaboratively translate that strategy into a tactical proposal

- Present proposals with media and cost schedules to clients

- Manage and execute display and search campaigns within The Trade Desk, DV360, SA360 and Google Ads

- Perform day-to-day campaign optimizations including: bid management, budget allocation, pacing, forecasting, performance monitoring, strategic testing, campaign expansion, etc.

- In partnership with media analytics, develop and present results decks highlighting the relevant learning gained and recommendations for future campaigns

- Build strong relationships with client services team and client

- Ensure Google best practice and adoption of new features or processes

- Stay up-to-date with emerging programmatic and search trends

- Demonstrate thought leadership and professional communication skills by developing and delivering Points of View

- Educate agency and client audiences on Google search and programmatic offerings, how they work, opportunities and new innovations/betas

- Main point of contact for Google rep


- 5+ years hands-on-keyboard experience at digital media agencies (Google Partner Agency status preferred)

- Certifications for Google DV360, SA360, Campaign Manager and Google Ads preferred

- Experience working in programmatic environments such as DV360 and The Trade Desk

- Experience working on large scale, complex display and search campaigns

- Strong understanding of digital media KPIs, and which to use for directional/diagnostic guidance vs. business outcomes

- Familiar with different buying methods, and when to use then (RTB open exchange vs. programmatic guaranteed, etc.)

- Conceptual understanding of direct marketing fundamentals and frameworks, including testing, the funnel, customer journey/path to purchase, and customer lifecycle

- Knowledge of media agency workflow process, responsibilities of a media planner and the inputs and handoff to/from other roles and disciplines

- Skilled at Microsoft Excel; able to build pivot tables and charts

- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

- Well organized, able to multi-task and balance multiple client deliverables
