EXL Service - Manager/Chief of Staff - Research Analyst

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Perform variety of research and analysis such as market sizing, trend identification, opportunity scan, growth projection, industry and corporate profiling using primary and secondary research tools

- Conduct financial analysis, convert complex data and findings into understandable tables, graphs, and written reports

- Research and develop content for internal and external presentations - leveraging a variety of tools such as interviews, meetings, internet, internal materials

- Support account planning, meeting preparation, materials gathering, notes capture and reporting

- Develop and codify knowledge on new and emerging topics of relevance to India/US market

- Collaborate with onshore teams and engage clients effectively from offshore

- Deliver quality information and research products to the respective internal clients/ stakeholders

- Provide strategic support in handling critical business issues, streamlining strategic initiatives, developing growth forecast for business

- Managing an extremely active calendar of appointments by interacting with leaders/ teams and assistants across geographies/ time zones to coordinate a variety of meetings

- Perform an array of administrative tasks including organizing group events and meetings both onsite and offsite

- Anticipate risks, understand the regulatory and compliance obligations across business/market, manage contingency plans and procedures to prevent staff and business disruptions

Candidate Profile :

- Highly motivated team player who is willing to go the extra mile

- Excellent problem solving ability, is analytical and comfortable quantitatively

- Degree in Statistics/Market Research/Economics/Other Relevant fields or MBA with strong quantitative skills, excellent academic standings, communication and presentation skills

- 3-5 years of experience in research, consulting or fields such as business, economics with corporate strategy roles

- Good knowledge of India/US market with solid understanding of economic, sectorial and business concepts and terminology

- Sectorial exposure in banking/insurance will be highly valuable

- Good time-management skills and a flexible attitude, with ability to meet tight deadlines and handle simultaneous work streams

- Strong report writing skills and strong understanding of financial concepts and business analysis

- Project management skills : self-motivated, ability to multi-task, work under pressure and successfully manage deadlines

- Should be flexible to work in US timings
