EXL Service - Business Analyst - Insurance Domain (4-9 yrs)

Job brief:

The position has responsibility for client facing requirements gathering to capture as-is process and map to-be process vision. It involves identifying automation blockers and identifying automation enablers and articulating them to the client. The role is also responsible for producing process definition document (PDD) which is basically a keystroke level process map to transition process into next stage of delivery and bringing understanding of business process/robotics to support development/testing during delivery.

Responsibilities:

- Interface directly with the client on daily basis

- Running workshops with client SMEs to understand the end to end process while identifying any automation blockers and the suitability of the process for automation.

- Calculate automation % and FTE benefit and build effort estimates

- Present summary of findings to the client and walk them through to-be design of the automated process.

- Provide outputs for weekly due diligence updates with the client.

- Understanding the risks, assumptions, and dependencies associated with the process.

- Work closely with development team to ensure requirements are accurately mapped and suitable for development

Technical Skills:

- Excellent Number orientation (MS Excel/VB Skills) and good knowledge of PowerPoint & Excel is a must

- Expertise on Process Design documents or Solution Design documents in Automation Space is a must

- Expertise in business process improvements and process reengineering (kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean)

- Basic understanding of programming language like C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET is an advantage

- MS Visio or similar workflow documentation tool is a must

- Agile or Scrum Trained or Certified is an advantage

- Strong understanding of Technology trends & Industry applicability for technologies like Data Integration & Cloud

- Strong understanding & familiarity with software development cycle

Requirements:

- 4-8 years of experience in Business Process Analysis

- The Insurance F&A domain expertise

- Experience using of automation and robotic tools such as UIPath, BluePrism, and Automation Anywhere.

- Lean Six Sigma knowledge is an advantage.

- Visio or similar workflow documentation tool.

- Willingness to travel and attend meetings/workshops on client premises and work from client premises.

- Communications skills including the ability to understand client process in any area in detail.

- Excellent coordination and communication skills
