EXL Service - AVP - Technology Operations - Enterprise & Systems Computing (10-12 yrs)
Job Description :
Basic Function :
- Providing Operational Stability by following and using the Tools, Policies and Processes.
- Good Understanding of running a large scale Wintel Operations
- Must have a good understanding of Server and Storage Technologies.
- Well versed with ITSM Framework, Vendor Management, Team Management.
- Good knowledge of Technology Compliance Controls like Patching, AV, VAPT, etc.
Essential Functions (Technical) :
- Should be able to provide the highest level of Technical guidance to Ent. Systems Team
- Good understanding of Wintel Technologies like Active Directory, Unified Messaging and Collaboration Office 365, Windows Group Policies, Clusters, Antivirus, Proxies, SCOM, SCCM, Storage etc.
- Ability to operate at all levels within the organization and cross functionally within multiple Client organizations.
Essential Functions (Operational) -
- Manage 24X7 BAU Operations effectively.
- Should have managed a large scale Wintel Operations for Servers and Storage.
- Should be able to manage a team of Technical SMEs and provide the required guidance as and when required.
- Acts as the primary point of contact between TIS and Other Functions
- Providing 24x7 operational supports for Wintel Operations
- Partner and Supplier Governance - Software, Hardware Vendor / OEM Coordination and escalation.
- Establish regular Connect with Partners through MBR/QBR/HBR.
- Managing the local team, including full time employees and Partner Resources
Technical Skills :
- Certifications in Microsoft Active Directory/Server 2008/2012
- Knowledge on scripting and automation tools
- DataCenter Operations.
- Backup and storage technology.
Process Specific Skills:
- PMP
- Good understanding and familiarity with ITIL framework
- Basic understanding of ISO 27001, SOX, PCI DSS Standards
- Server Patching / Server Performance / Server Troubleshooting.
Education Requirements :
- At least 10-12 years in a similar role. Exposure to Wintel Operations.
- ITIL Foundation (minimum)
- Sound interpersonal skills and collaborative approach with the ability to interact and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Good influencing skills
- Solid organizational, time management and prioritization skills
