Executive Technical Assistant to Business Head - Mines & Metal Business - IIT/IIM (2-6 yrs)

We have been mandated by a large reputed conglomerate is into Mines & Metal Business, for Executive Assistant to Business Head.

Candidates from IIT - Kharagpur & IIT - Dhanbad + MBA from a reputed B-School can only apply.

KRA 1 - Strategic Business Decision

- Contribute in taking Strategic business decisions by the Business Head.

- Compilation of vital information for decision making

- Analysis of data for generation of alternatives

- Highlighting key risks associated with decisions

KRA 2 - MIS Assimilation of MIS from all units and critically analyze it for submission to Business Head.

- Present critical analysis of Monthly Targets and Monthly Financials to Business Head.

- Creation of suitable MIS for tracking of developments

- Data warehousing for compilation of reports/statistics for business presentations / reports

- Follow-up with units on deviations

KRA 3 - Business Performance

- Assist Business Head in review and monitoring of business plans for achieving business targets

- Assist unit in preparation of P&B document by review of critical assumptions

- Provide regular feedback to Business Head through the Action Taken Reports for effective execution of decisions

- Timely check on cost overhead

- Provide timely feedback for bridging performance gaps

KRA 4 - Regulatory and Legal Issues

- Assist Business Head in dealing with regulatory and legal issues

- Prepare background note for issues and creating system to update it on regular basis

- Keeping track of developments in court cases through creation of monitoring mechanism

- Providing timely inputs of development in court cases to Business Head for expediting issues

KRA 5 - Capex Proposals and Procurement Planning

- Assist Business Head in evaluating Capex Proposals through analytical reports and plan for large scale procurement

- Evaluate Capex Proposals both technically and financially for Business Heads decision

- Assist in tracking of procurement planning and sourcing

KRA 6 - Projects and Business Development

- Assist in providing information for BD projects being undertaken from Corporate Office

- Study and evaluation and review of various value added projects taken as Mines Level.

- Analysis of financial models and pre feasibility study for Business Heads decision

- To contribute as a Key Team member for implementation and monitoring of the various projects sanctioned by Chairman.

KRA 7 - Self Development

- Ensure self development to take greater responsibility in future

- Align with Group Philosophy

- Keep Update on professional knowledge

- Participate in seminars and conferences related to our businesses
