- Work with the team members and partners to develop the business, identifying who we need to know, how we'll get to know them and what skills, resources and supporting activity will be needed to achieve our goals

- Drive and develop the firm's key account management programmes, initiatives and targeting sectors, providing suitable consultancy and support to team members and partners in their pursuit strategies

- Working with appropriate local business support, manage and monitor the sales pipeline, ensuring a strong pipeline of activity and momentum

- Act as a coach to team members and support to partners in the areas of exceptional client service and business development, helping them to build their personal networks

- Provide occasional pitch support, working with the central bids team and conducting bid debriefs to improve on our bid performance

- Ensure stakeholder groups are made aware of, and directed to use, the self-service tools available to support knowledge, business development and client service delivery

- Possess current market intelligence, being proactive in bringing market trends and ideas to the business to help open doors to new work and qualify in new leads where opportunities are identified

- Develop pursuit plans for strategic opportunities, working with the Bid team to develop bespoke value propositions and associated action plans in the lead up to tender stage

Marketing Support:

- Work with the Mar Com team who will design, develop and deliver the sector marketing strategy to support the sector's growth plans

- Ensure the focus of our market activities is centred on the managed clients and managed targets population, whilst being rolled out to other clients and targets as broadly as possible

- Ensure national issues-based and solutions-led campaigns are followed up with local sector-focused partners and directors

- Work with stakeholder groups to ensure strategies for delivery of excellent client service are implemented and sustained

- Be a support and advocate for the deployment of digital marketing channels and its seamless integration into the management of campaigns

- Conduct BD programs/campaigns / key account management programs

- Champion the use of the CRM system and actively manage data quality

- Ensure the activities undertaken within the sectors are delivered in a manner which maximises efficiency, leverages content and tools already in use and maximises ROI either through streamlined process or outsourcing

- Support the peer group in the areas of knowledge share, innovation and leverage of national activity

- Act as a support to the sector heads and other partners in advising on what core activity should be supported within limited budgets, balancing output with ROI

- Develop and maintain tracking mechanisms which are consistent across the peer group which drive output and revenue and demonstrate value.


Salary offered : 7 - 14 LPA
