1. Oversee and manage all income and expense related accounting, MIS and analysis
2. Manage vendor management and payments to vendors; vendor agreements and performance
3. Review and monitor all tax related matters. Coordinate with tax consultants for various taxation matters relating to assessments and appeals
4. Handle statutory, tax and internal audits as per the audit schedule. Manage all audit queries and making course correction where required. Assist group companies with their audits as well
5. Manage closing of accounts as per the schedule
6. Manage regulatory and other compliances and ensuring that all statutes and laws and adhered to without exception
7. Prepare and review the monthly MIS to be presented to the management
8. Compare budget on a monthly basis with the actual expenses and analyse the reasons for the variance, if any.
9. Management and reporting of working capital and funds status on a periodic basis
10. Prepare and review financial statements prepared on periodic basis
11. Manage payroll for all employees of the Trust and some group companies (if required)
12. Managing all insurance related matters for the Trust as well as subsidiary companies
13. Hire, train and manage a team of skilled F&A executives
14. Assist the CFO in all other matters and activities related to finance and accounting, as required from time to time
Educational Qualifications: - CA/CFA
Experience:
- 3-5 years in Finance and Accounting
Knowledge/Skills required:
- Knowledge of GAAP
- Understanding of taxation
- Understanding of audit practices
- Experience in working with an accounting system like SAP
- Understanding of Company Law
