Legal and Compliance Executive - Mumbai


Our client a Global leading trading company is looking to higher legal and compliance executive for their Mumbai office.


Responsibilities:

- Reviewing agreements and other compliance documents from time to time, legal drafting of letters/ legal documentation.

- Legal responses and legal advisory to other departments of the company.

- Conduct sanctions screening and compliance checks for onboarding of various counterparties.

- Collaborating with stakeholder functions in an internal investigations process, including HR, Legal, IT, accounts and finance, and execution teams.

- Implementation of effective compliance regime through process improvement, managing the Online Compliance Tool & periodic upgradation, for risk management while analyzing complex issues & providing effective risk mitigation plans.

- Keep abreast of legislative changes and trends in corporate legal industry including those that affect the business of the Company.

- Ensuring substantive compliance on different aspects in the business operations, including the areas of APMC, food laws viz., FSSAI, legal metrology, competition law, Anti-bribery, sanction, etc.

- Ensure compliance with all policies & compliances of Company. To prepare periodic MIS of outstanding litigations & coordinate for their follow up & closure.

- Prepare MIS to keep management and Board informed of critical legal issues and to keep a track of payment made to the advocates / law firms / counsels on Record

- Contribute, positively and extensively towards building the organizational reputation, brand and operational excellence.

- Manage and maintain administrative records for all legal matters. Assist in various filings related to legal matters
