The Job:
- We are seeking to identify a Strong Leader / Technologist responsible for the end-to-end design and delivery of Book-building software focused on the primary market.
- The role is responsible for working with a global team of Engineers in support of this mission, with additional support from the wider technology organization.
- The ideal applicant will have an organized and creative mindset (thought leader) that drives him or her to find innovative solutions to common problems with the right tool set.
- They will be passionate about technology and have a self-driven interest in keeping up with the latest technology developments and relate them to the current product landscape along with the below mentioned responsibilities:
- Assist with building and leading a team of Managers and Senior Developers
- Facilitate system design and changes in system architecture for the enterprise application
- Maintain current knowledge of technology landscape and developments
- Take the initiative in thought leadership, innovation, and creativity
- Mentor team on technology and other work-related aspects.
- Responsibility for the quality of all deployed applications and services
- Drive innovation and adoption of best practices.
- Drive roadmaps execution by partnering with Product teams.
Your Profile:
You should ideally have 20+ years of development experience building enterprise software or platforms in a financial environment with minimum 12+ years of hands-on Programming language experience in .Net Technology with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent qualification.
An ideal candidate should have:
- Experience in building and mentoring strong global technology teams (at least 40+ sizes)
- Experience managing Technology budgets and proven experience in delivering large complex projects.
- Preference is given to candidates that have experience transforming monolith to microservices
- Solid knowledge of data management technologies particularly SQL Server
- Good background in leveraging cloud technologies
- Solid architecture and design skills
- Experienced with Microsoft stack, but knowledgeable on cross-platform tech
- Can handle both front-end and back-end development
