Qualification : Preferably Engineering Graduate ( Mechanical/ Production/ Automobile) with MBA from reputed top rung Institutes

Location : Mumbai

Overall Responsibilities & Deliverables

- Chart out the strategic direction of manufacturing taking into consideration the business strategy & objectives over the long term, external & internal environments & key stakeholders

- Conceptualise, design & support implementation of state of the art/ futuristic interventions in the manufacturing plants by appropriately & adequately leveraging new IT/ digital/ technological platforms as well as data analytics

- Align the supplier strategy in line with the manufacturing stratgies and plans

- Provide insights on ground level business challenges related to plant capacity, conversion costs and implement support by recommeding feasible alternatives/ Solutions

- Lead projects in meeting step change productivity improvements, new product, or process innovation, and expanding technical capability and ensuring seamless execution of the same

- Synergise/ Collaborate with the COE team to introduce new technologies in the long run and devise projects for the same

- Develop and communicate Plant Manufacturing Strategy and tactics

- Creation of holistic dashboards, integration of various reports & prioritization of issues for presentations to senior management team

- Business Intelligence & analysis on new trends, emerging technologies & business opportunities

- Keep a track and monitor the status of Capex, Revex and IRR Projects

Key Competencies required

- Knowledge and technical understanding of manufacturing processes, components and techniques

- Knowledge and Exposure in Digital Manufacturing, Analytics, Robotics, Automation etc.

- Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities

- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation & influencing skills
