Position Title : Executive Assistant to MD

Location of the position : Mumbai

Educational Qualifications : Finance background (CA/ICWAI/MBA(Finance)) / Diversity profile

Experience of Candidate : 6 to 8 Years of Experience

Job Purpose -

Managing crucial team of MD's office and assist MD to drive strategic & business decisions and keep a track of the plan of all the businesses and functions for execution / implementation and generate analytical reports and facilitate MD's decision making process with high level of confidentiality.

Key Activities:

- Responsible for planning strategic business objectives and processes to monitor and report on performance against agreed key performance indicators for overall businesses across locations.

- Accurate forecasting of pipeline and revenue from potential businesses on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

- Networked with the top management across businesses globally to understand their requirement from MD & provide best solutions in consultation.

- Reporting on operational performance of all the businesses through business evaluation,

- Work closely with all the business heads to understand the current status and plans to improvise their respective businesses

- Perform analytics and generate various reports/presentations for MD and provide them insight of overall business expectations on timely basis

- Do research and maintain updates on the competitors (existing and upcoming) current/future strategies, detailed financial summaries to understand the market to ensure that we remain ahead of our competitors.

- Analyzing, investigating and explaining key movements and trends of P&L lines and recommend required changes/strategies/plans

- Preparation of monthly financial metrics and key business drivers specific to different products/functions and assist MD in decision making

- Preparation of various analytical reports to support the management needs and ensure timely adherence to set deadlines

- To provide commentaries and business insights on variance under different scenarios and time periods

- Keep a track and provide insight on business productivity /efficiency projects driven by each business

- Tracking various projects for closure within defined timelines which has high impact on P&L

- Ensuring the closure of discussions and action-items from review / strategy / leadership meetings

- Highlight important articles of the leading publications, share relevant updates and news articles periodically which may add value in our business strategies

- Industry alliance - Identify useful & strategic conferences & networking opportunities.

- Support in putting together presentation and write-ups as and when required before it reaches/ discuss with MD

- Shadow the MD and understand entrepreneurial instinct and provide assistant as and when the need be.

Job Involves The Following Linkages:

- Within the Organization: All Board of Directors, All Biz leaders, Directors, Locational / Profit Centre Heads.

- Outside the Organization: External Auditors, Tax Officials, Banks / Financial Institutions, Industry Associations / Trade Representative, Government Official, Consultants and Advisors, bureaucrats

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Candidate should preferably an MBA (Finance) from tier 1 institutions or CA/ICWAI only with pleasant and confident personality.

- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to develop and communicate business transformational vision that inspires and motivates team and aligns with the future business strategies

- High level of personal integrity, as well as the ability to professionally handle confidential matters and show an appropriate level of judgment and maturity

- Ability to work in an ambiguous and dynamic environment

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Flexible, smart with strong analytical, interpersonal s and presentation skills
