Executive Assistant to Managing Director - Export House (3-5 yrs)

As an EA, this role involves working very closely with the MD to steer the organization towards growth. Hence this would involve the following:

1) Supporting new IT initiatives to make the organization user friendly

2) Helping in initiatives taken by the management to enter new markets and categories.

3) Works with the MD on strategic initiatives or special projects

4) Follows up on contacts made by the MD and supports the cultivation of ongoing relationships.

5) Edits and completes first drafts for written communications to external stake holders

6) Plans, coordinates and ensures the MD's schedule is followed and respected. Provides "gatekeeper" and "gateway" role, creating win-win situations for direct access to the MD's time and office

7) Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the MD, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response.

8) Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the MD's office and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff.

9) Provides leadership to build relationships crucial to the success of the organization, and manages a variety of special projects for the MD, some of which may have organizational impact.

10) Successfully completes critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including drafting acknowledgement letters, personal correspondence, and other tasks that facilitate the CEO's ability to effectively lead the company

Prerequisites:

1.Excellent communication skills - Spoken and Written English and letter writing skills

2. High comfort level in working on the internet - Browsing on various websites, finding all kinds of information as required .

3. Complete knowledge of Microsoft office and Adobe photoshop/ CorelDraw.

4. Ability to think on the go.

5. Ability to keep confidential information.

6. 3-5 years of experience and a business degree.
