Executive Assistant to CFO


Position : Young Leader for the Future in Finance/Executive Assistant - Finance Department


Location : Mumbai

Direct Reporting To : The Business Leader/The Board of Director

Job Purpose : Responsible for high-quality executive support to The Business Leader/The Board of Director.

Role Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Be involved in high-impact decisions making processes and projects of great magnitude, complexity and speed

- Be a part of L&T Strategic and Operational initiatives

- Interact at the highest levels of organization/s inside and outside company

- Keep track of economic and business environment, relevant market and trends in the immediate environment and their imperatives for company

- Carry out analytics and derive insights based on business reports / data

- Involve with Corporate functions and interact with operating businesses to enable effective co-ordination of various activities.


- Provide relevant information and assistance to The Business Leader / The Board of Director.

- Act as the point of contact for the business heads / functional heads and other external stake holders

Note: On developing a good degree of business acumen as an Executive Assistant - Finance, and after working for 1 to 2 years in this role, the incumbent can look forward to working with any of the L&T's businesses in a suitable position.

Experience & Educational Requirements :

Qualifications and Experience :

Educational Qualifications (degree, training, or certification required) : Chartered Accountancy from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (in first attempt) or Full time MBA-Finance from a Tier-1/ Tier-2 B-School, with first-class academic records.


RELEVANT EXPERIENCE : (no. of years of technical, functional, and/or leadership experience or specific exposure required) :

- Should have about 7 years of experience in corporate finance consisting of financial planning and analysis

- Excellent executive presence, competent in people skills, high impact communication and presentation skills

- Should Exhibit high degrees of accountability and dependability

- Should have attention to details, critical thinking, and high level of result orientation

- Proficiency in MS office - especially with MS Power Point and Excel
