EVP - Product Management - eCommerce/mCommerce (15-18 yrs)

EVP - Product

This is a highly strategic role and will report to the Chief Product Officer.

Responsibilities :

- Build, manage and lead the product management team.

- Guide customer-facing product strategy, identify key success metrics, and analyze the performance of new product launches and enhancements to existing features.

- Use data analytics, product metrics, user experience research, competitive and market analysis, and company goals to drive prioritization of product initiatives.

- Act as a cross-functional leader, collaborating with design, engineering, and business teams to drive new product initiatives.

- Define and manage the product road-map, setting expectations with all relevant stakeholders.

- Drive product development through the entire development cycle, from concept, design and development, through to launch and ongoing support in a fast-paced, agile environment.

- Advocate on behalf of customers. Develop customer journey maps and use data-driven customer insights to guide product design and create compelling user experiences.

- Foster an agile environment of rapid iteration and experimentation, prototyping at various levels of fidelity.

- Serve as expert on trend-setting practices in e-commerce, particularly m-commerce, including analysis of the competitive landscape.

- Champion the adoption of product management methodologies for bringing profitable products to market effectively and efficiently.

Skills :

- Proven ability to articulate business opportunities and customer needs into product requirements.

- Demonstrated skill in writing concise and clear definitions of prioritized features for the technical teams to implement.

- Strong UX design and prototyping skills across both mobile and desktop platforms.

- A strong leader and change agent who can energize and influence staff across functions, levels, and locations.

- Strong interpersonal and people management skills, including the ability to identify and develop talent.

- Self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and deadline-driven environment.

- Ability to work with remote partners and team members via online tools across different time zones, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications :

- A successful track record of defining and launching digital products (for mobile and desktop) that resulted in customer growth and revenue growth.

- 15+ years web product development and management experience.

- 10+ years eCommerce product management experience.

- Experience leading product managers and product development teams to desired outcomes.

- Deep domain knowledge and experience in B2C eCommerce, including mobile commerce.

- Ability to successfully work with teams across multiple functions (e.g, Engineering, Business Intelligence, Merchandising, Marketing, Operations, etc).

- Deep understanding of the web and usability best practices. Experience with creating intuitive user experiences through close collaboration with UX and web designers.

- A strong blend of analytical, decision-making and creative problem solving skills.

- Exceptional communication and organizational skills and ability to interact with diverse groups of technical and non-technical stakeholders at the executive level.

- Experience with data analysis and measurement tools ( e.g. GA, Adobe Analytics, Site-Catalyst).

- BA/BS degree, MBA preferred.
