Job Overview

A market facing position that requires providing insightful analysis and advice to clients on one or multiple Global Sourcing domains such as locations optimization, governance structures, sourcing models in outsourcing/offshoring space. The role requires driving actionable insights through a combination of custom advisory engagements (e.g., benchmarking, competitive intelligence) and authoring reports and white papers. The candidate must be able to analyse, communicate, work with senior executives, develop complex and compelling analytical scenarios, and work with clients solving strategic global sourcing issues. The role includes global interactions with buyers, suppliers, subject matter experts, investors, and industry associations.

Responsibility

- Work closely with colleagues within the Global Sourcing (GS) practice, other practices, and external market participants to support client engagements, develop syndicated reports, as well as internal business development efforts

- Develop domain knowledge and get recognized as SMEs within Everest Group as well as the wider industry

- Work as an integral team member on custom advisory research and published research, with independent responsibility on modules.

Key activities include:

- Problem structuring and analysis

-Support gathering, structuring, and knowledge management

- Suggesting processes for filling any data or analysis gaps

- Begin to own select work streams for project deliverables

- Conduct detailed numerical analysis to identify key trends affecting markets, consolidate analysis, and develop the knowledge into best in class industry reports

- Proactively develop new content and depth of insight in identified work-streams

- Ensure quality of products and adherence to Everest Group standards

- Project management skills: ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and successfully manage deadlines

Education and Experience

We are seeking a high calibre individual to maintain our exceptional standards. This person should have:

- Degree in Engineering - B.E./B.Tech from reputed institutes (e.g. IIT, NIT, NSIT, Thapar University, DTU, PEC Institute of Technology)

- 1-3 years work experience in a professional services environment (Management Consulting/ Business Research)

- Interest in global services sector (e.g., outsourcing/offshoring space) and sourcing trends

- History of excellence in academics, personal and vocational achievements
