Job overview

A market facing position that requires providing insightful analysis and advice to clients on one or multiple Business Process Services (BPS) markets through published reports and client specific custom research. Role will include developing domain expertise in select fields (such as F&A,HR,BFSI ect) managing specific research agenda for these fields, authoring industry reports and thought papers and helping clients through custom advisory engagements. This will include regular interaction with global buyers, service providers, investors and Industry associations.

Key responsibilities

- Develop domain knowledge and get recognized as SMEs within Everest group as well as the wider industry

- Support in gathering, structuring and storage of relevant subject area information

- Detailed numerical analysis of data to identify key trends effecting markets

- Consolidate numerical analysis and domain knowledge into best in class industry reports

- Work closely with colleagues within the BPS practice as well as other practices, and support the practice while working on client engagements, developing syndicated reports as well as internal business development efforts

- Help the research agenda for broader practice in terms of :

a) Suggesting processes for filling any data or analysis gaps

b) Help team manage deadlines

c) Assist with problem structuring

d) Begin to own select work streams for project deliverables

e) Ensure quality of deliverables

- Proactively develop new content and depth of insight regarding work streams

Skills and Activities:

- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and successfully manage deadlines

- Good working knowledge of MS Excel. Experience in developing detailed models in MS Excel

- Comfortable with MS PowerPoint, Word and Outlook

Education and Experience:

We are seeking a high calibre individual to maintain our exceptional standards. This person should have:

- Degree in Engineering - BE/B. Tech from reputed institutes (e.g. IITs, NITs)

- 1.5 - 3 years work experience in a professional services environment (Management Consulting/ Business Research)

- Interest in technology sector, outsourcing space and sourcing trends

- History of excellence in academics, personal and vocational achievements
