This is a role for one of the top US based investment banks on the street providing market leading coverage on cross asset strategy. The research associate will work with strategists based in London to help implement analytical models, analyze large amount of data, and identify investment strategies. The role requires working knowledge of securitized products e.g. ABS, RMBS, CLOs. An understanding of cash and credit market products, corporate bond and CDS indices will be helpful. Typical duties include ownership, maintenance and updating databases, data packets comprising of spreads, rating actions, new issuance, redemptions and market outstanding size on a regular basis. - Ad-hoc assignments may include attending to data requests, setting up templates capturing crucial data points for use in research reports, writing sections of research reports while creating/updating charts and tables, ideating investment strategies or identifying themes supportive of/contributing to team's investment thesis. - An ideal candidate would have the capacity to summarize large pieces of information, inclination towards data crunching, ability to generate analytics independently using advanced excel, VBA and/or R. Education & Experience: - B. Tech from IIT or any other reputed Engineering Institutes. - 1-4 years of Financial/ Industry experience (preferable) - Strong academic record, quantitative skills, an interest in and understanding of financial markets - Any progress towards CFA will be an added advantage
