Evalueserve - Equity Research Strategy Professional

Our research teams generate investment ideas and then market those ideas to institutional investors hedge funds, and our own internal sales force and traders. The associate will provide analytical support to a highly rated Strategy team and interact with the relevant teams in our global offices.

The associates responsibilities will include :

- Collecting financial data using data sources such as Bloomberg, DataStream and Thomson Reuters.

- Creating and maintaining databases, statistical models etc.

- Extensive sector and market valuation using quant models, relative valuation etc.

- Developing operating metrics using financial data on indices, analyzing fund flows and macro indicators.

- Extensive report writing for weekly/monthly/quarterly periodicals, thematic reports, and generating investment ideas.

- Monitoring, analyzing and commenting on day-to-day happenings across regions and markets with the aim of identifying and highlighting key trends.

- Handling client requests, including tailored and bespoke requests, creating stock screens based on given financial metrics

Skill Set Required :

- Advanced MS Excel Skills

- Strong accounting, financial and economic skills.

- Excellent skills relating to data management and interpretation on excel

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills

- Experience working on data stream

- Ability to synthesize research findings and write summary reports

- Knowledge of VBA and statistical analysis tools will be an added advantage

- Strong communication skills - written and verbal (principally telephone)

- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks

Education and experience :

- B.Tech / CA / MBA; CFA (AIMR, USA) would be preferred

- 1-5 years of Financial / Industry experience, any experience in strategy will be a plus

- Strong academic record, quantitative skills and an interest in and understanding of financial markets

Compensation :

- To be decided on a case-by-case basis, pegged with the best in the industry.
