Job Description :

- Supporting the corporate strategy team of a broad energy company by providing bespoke research and analysis specific to competitor intelligence, market research, and financial or operational benchmarking

- Analyse, interpret and synthesize learning from various research sources and draw executable conclusions for stakeholders

- Carry out competitor and industry analysis for determining the attractiveness of different markets for the client

- Conduct qualitative analysis on a variety of areas and prepare standard or custom products capturing major Oil & Gas/ New energy industry trends and other geo-political events.

- Structure problems and plan delivery along with managers

- Client communication - Clearly express ideas, results and recommendations both orally and in writing

- Contribute actively in team discussions and work on various group specific strategic initiatives

Pre-requisites :

- Excellent secondary research skills and good knowledge of relevant market and business research frameworks

- Relevant experience in each of the following :

a. Data compilation, analysis and synthesis

b. Report writing and presentation, with high skill in drawing insights from information

c. Project management

- Excellent writing and editing skills in English, communication and inter-personnel skills

- Ability to understand the link between client needs, data and its application

- Good story-boarding skills

- Ability to flex between project planning and actual execution basis

- Excellent working skills with Microsoft Office tools, especially power point, word and excel

- Familiarity with key research databases (knowledge of IHS, Wood Mackenzie are added advantage)

- Innovative thinking abilities and solution-oriented approach to work

Education and experience :

- MBA from a college of repute

- 3-5 years of experience

- Relevant industry (Oil & gas or Energy) experience will be an added advantage

- Team player with an ability to work in challenging situations

- Strong academics with very good communication skills
