Looking for Business/Market Research professions for Oil and Gas Industry. Experience working in Oil and Gas industry is an added advantage.

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Support corporate strategy team of a large oil & gas company in formulating and rolling out new strategies

- Analyze, interpret, and synthesize learning from various research sources, and draw executable conclusions for stakeholders

- Prepare standard or custom products capturing major oil & gas/energy industry trends, and other key geo-political events

- Carry out competitor analysis and industry analysis for determining the attractiveness of different markets for the client

- Identify problems and plan delivery along with managers

- Clearly express ideas, results, and recommendations to clients, both orally and in writing

- Contribute actively in team discussions and work on various group-specific strategic initiatives

- Support group manager in project and people management responsibilities

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

- Sound knowledge of market research, business research, data compilation, analysis, synthesis, report writing, and presentation

- Ability to draw insights from available information

- Excellent secondary research skills and good knowledge of market analysis frameworks

- Strong oral and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills

- Team player with an ability to work in challenging situations

- Ability to understand the link between client needs, data, and its application

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel

- Sound knowledge of key research databases and advanced user of standard or meta search engines

- Relevant industry (oil & gas/energy) experience will be an added advantage

- Innovative thinker with solution-oriented approach

REQUIRED EDUCATION

- CA/CFA/MBA from a reputed college - Strong academics record

COMPENSATION
