Equity Research Associate / Senior Associate - Sell Side - Creating and maintenance of excel based financial models with forecasts and benchmarking companies on financial and operating statistics - Creating presentations on industry and company research, for marketing and roadshows - Creating and maintaining detailed information on industry/sector databases and valuation comparable - Handling ad-hoc research requests per client requirements - Collecting financial data using on-line and other data sources such as Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters - Coordinating and maintaining industry databases where relevant - Extensive company valuation involving approaches such as DCF, DDM, Trading and transaction multiples, EVA etc - Extensive report-writing including company profiles, earning notes, quarterly updates, initiating coverage reports, sector reports, newsletters technology primers, Flash notes, Theme-based reports etc - Listening to and summarizing investment conference calls and even conducting management and channel interviews Skill Set : - Good MS Office Skills - Strong Accounting and financial skills - Decent financial writing skills (beyond factual reporting such as Company Description). - Well versed in building the full dynamic model with forecasting and valuation (DCF, multiple valuations, SOTP, DDM, etc) - Knowledge of database tools - Bloomberg, Reuters, and other financial data systems - Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills Education and Experience : - MBA / PGDM (Finance) / CA ; CFA(US) would be an added advantage - Equity Research experience Evalueserve is committed to providing equal opportunities (EEO) globally, eliminating discrimination and promoting good relations among employees, regardless of age, disability, race, ethnicity or origin, religion or belief, sex, gender assignment, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital or civil partnership status.
