Cross Asset Strategy Associate : - Work for one of the top investment banks and provide market-leading coverage on cross-asset strategy - Work with strategists and help them implement analytical models, analyze a large amount of data, and identify investment strategies - Write / debug queries efficiently and should have an inclination toward data crunching - Summarize large sets of information and generate analytics - Tack various asset classes, such as equities, fixed income, FX, and derivatives; put together infrastructure for capturing crucial data points; write sections of research periodicals while creating / updating charts and tables; and ideate investment strategies or identify themes supporting / contributing to team's investment thesis Experience and Skills Required : - Strong academic record, quantitative skills, and an interest in and understanding of financial markets - Basic knowledge of financial instruments / asset classes - Knowledge of MS Office suite, advanced Excel, and VBA - Experience in R / Q, Bloomberg or dealing with large data sets will be an advantage - Must be detail oriented, with a zero tolerance for errors - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently, if required - Logical approach to problem solving - Dedication to work with a learning attitude and proactiveness - A team player and should be able to prioritize tasks - Flexible approach to workload and work hours - Must be proactive and take a strong interest in learning about the financial market Education and Experience : - B.
