EV Platform Head

Job Description :

Technical :

1. Drive development of electronic systems for Electric Vehicle such as Charger control unit, BMS, DC-DC converter, Motor Controller, Vehicle Controller etc. as per performance/ quality/ cost/ weight targets and plants manufacturing requirement

2. Conduct DR, FMEA (system/design) and apply all such tools in the design phase

3. Define performance and reliability test parameters, procedures for such parts

4. Keep track of global trends in relevant technology, regulations and develop long term road maps and appropriate work plan

5. Benchmarking and generation of ideas for better performance, quality, cost, weight etc.

6. Knowledge of automotive EMI/EMC standards is must

7. Knowledge about automotive industry standards and regulations from an EMC standpoint

8. Awareness about CAD and Simulations Tools

9. Strong analytical skills and working experience on different analyses such as worst case, Monte Carlo, tolerance stack up, power dissipation, stress etc.

Functional :

1. Lead cross functional delivery teams, typically encompassing; chassis design and the integration of styling, powertrain and electrical systems, calling upon domain specialist expertise support as required

2. Delivery of technical solutions for motorcycle chassis and body system

3. Provide senior input and approval to proposals, presentations and concepts / reports / drawings etc. including leading client meetings and providing significant customer management

4. All technical and potentially commercial aspects of project delivery of self and team, as well as awareness of and adherence to common project management techniques

5. Leading technical authority for the company in chosen area, shaping company position on subject, promotes excellence both internally and externally 

6. Project variety, encompassing many different customer markets, highly varied product sectors e.g. scooter, off-road and cruiser at any or all project phases, from clean sheet to production
