Essex - Analyst/Senior Analyst - Solution Development (2-5 yrs)
Over-all experience :
- 2-5 year of work experience at leading analytics and business intelligence companies
- Extensive experience in data handling, data processing and data analyses using SAS/R/Python/Alteryx/RapidMiner etc.
- Working knowledge of BI tools like Tableau, QlikView or Power BI
- This position requires working in a R&D set-up to develop innovative visibility solutions
- The work mostly will be based out of the home office and it will require collaboration with people/team across different geographies
Key responsibilities :
- Directly engage with internal and external stakeholders, gather requirements and manage communication
- Excellent problem-solving skillsets with the ability to interpret business requirements and translate into actionable analyses
- Ability to process large & complex datasets efficiently and able to derive interesting insights
- Working knowledge with BI tools such as Tableau, QlikView or Power BI (All or any)
- Ability to automate BAU data related tasks
- Able to conduct strong quality control analyses to ensure data quality and integrity
Key Skills :
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of processing large amount of data using SAS/R/Python/Alteryx/RapidMiner etc.
- Exposure to BI tools like Tableau, QlikView or Power BI would be a plus
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel
- Familiarity with big data tools and platforms (such as Hadoop, Hive, Hbase, MAPR, etc.) would be preferred
- Excellent communication skills (Written/Verbal)
- Self-starter with a zeal for innovation and excellence in Client delivery
- Ability to work under tight timelines and handle project pressure
- Mentor and coach junior team members
