1. Ensure that all revenue items are recognized as per IFRS. The items include a) Revenue - LOB-wise/program-wise/last revenue unit b) Deferred Revenue - LOB-wise/program-wise/last revenue unit c) Sundry Debtors - LOB-wise / program-wise/last revenue unit d) Income received in Advance (Unearned revenue) - LOB-wise/program-wise/last revenue unit 2. Reconcile monthly balances - opening and closing of all the above items 3. Ensure timely invoicing as per contracts 4. Support the monthly book closure activities and reporting of MIS items related to revenue 5. Ensure that all processes (specifically on controls) are followed with respect to pricing, scholarships granted, refunds and deferment of revenue generating items are all reconciled. 6. Coordinate with multiple teams internally (various LOB's / program owners) for reconciliation of revenue related items on a weekly / monthly basis. 7. Ensure statutory audits, due diligence's, internal audits are completed in time with no significant adverse observations. 8. Ensure all corrective actions recommended as a result of observations made in audits are taken in time-bound manner and implemented. 9. Maintenance of client contracts and approval of prices and pricing policies - largely documentation focused. 10. Ensure that expense line item directly dependent on revenue are aligned with revenue recognition. 1. 8-9 years post qualification, in a corporate environment, preferably with global exposure. 2. Experience in start-ups which have achieved scale, working in technology enabled space is a plus. 1. Demonstrated ability to handle coordination with multiple internal / external teams. 2. Knowledge of IND-AS, IFRS is desirable. 3. Should have worked alongside the Big 4 audit firms for closing books of accounts / statutory audits. 4. Excellent working skills of MS - office (word, excel, powerpoint), Tally. 5. Knowledge of ERP environment will be an added plus. Preferable, if the potential candidate had also experienced implementation of ERP software solutions.
