Job Requirements:
- 5+ years Grad/ Post Grad. in Finance, Economics, or CA/ CFA designation
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Excellent understanding of financial markets, investment principles, and economic indicators.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Proficiency in financial analysis software and tools, such as Bloomberg, Reuters, and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Client-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Job Responsibilities:
- Research and Analysis:
- Conduct detailed fundamental analysis of companies, industries, and market trends.
- Analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Evaluate company performance, management quality, competitive positioning, and potential risks.
- Investment Recommendations & Strategy Formulation
- Develop investment theses and present well-supported recommendations for equity and alternative investments.
- Prepare and present detailed research reports, investment memos, and market updates to the investment team and clients.
- Monitor and update investment recommendations based on ongoing research and market developments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team - including sales, trading, risk management, and compliance, to ensure alignment of research strategies and activities.
- Portfolio Management Support & Client Engagement:
- Provide regular performance reviews and risk assessments of existing investments.
- Recommend adjustments to portfolios in response to changing market conditions and client needs.
- Participate in client meetings to discuss investment strategies, market outlook, and specific investment opportunities.
- Prepare customized investment reports and presentations for UHNI and corporate clients.
- Address client inquiries and provide expert insights into their investment queries.
- Risk Assessment and Monitoring:
- Evaluate and assess risks associated with investments within the sector and propose risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor portfolio risk exposure and provide insights to optimize risk-adjusted returns.
- Leverage market intelligence to adjust investment strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Stay informed about industry trends, news, regulatory changes, and global economic developments affecting the sector.
