Role: You will join a leading energy equity research team with a broad coverage universe of stocks. Your role is to support and develop the research of the Integrated Oil, E&P and Oilfield Services sectors and contribute to the group's stock coverage responsibilities and global industry views.

Key Responsibilities:The key responsibilities are:

- Support the lead analyst in fundamental research to service institutional investors with sufficient intensity to drive vote capture

- Analyse company financial results and model estimated future results

- Contribute written work to the Indian Oil & Gas team thematic and stock specific research

- Assist the team in meeting client marketing and corporate access requirements

- Build, develop and maintain comprehensive financial models - for companies and the sector

- Cultivate strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

- Perform value-add analysis and interpret data on market and economic events to identify and describe trends

- Prepare pre and post-results updates on your covered companies

- Attend and report on corporate events, roadshows, company presentations and conferences

- Manage client requests and take ownership of workflow

Person Specification--

The following skills and experience are required for this role:

- Requirements: a strong academic background with degree, excellent verbal and written communication skills, the drive and determination to excel

- Either an industry or financial/research background will be considered

- Experience in the energy sector in either finance/accounting or commercial roles is an advantage

- Experience in equity markets regardless of industry sector is an advantage

- Advanced Excel skills are a pre-requisite

You have:

- An Intellectually curious mind and are passionate about financial markets

- Genuine interest in Energy and the Oil & Gas industry

-  CA/CFA/MBA degree

- Proven experience of financial modelling or evaluating companies

- A minimum of 1-3 years- experience of Equity Research or similar role

- A fantastic attitude and commitment to deliver the best service to clients
