Our client is an Indian investment bank. Their focus is to provide financial advisory, institutional brokerage, asset management, securities research and capital markets services.

Role: Equity Research Associate - Indian Banking Sector

Reporting: Lead Analyst - Banking Sector

Location: Mumbai

Description :

Job Responsibilities :

- Conducting background research for companies in the Indian Banking Sector and documenting findings and conclusions to form investment research reports to the clients independently

- Generate equity investment ideas through macroeconomic and financial research

- Build financial models, conduct in-depth company and industry research analysis

- Motivated and committed to driving clients and revenue growth

- Greatly involved in presentations and briefings to clients in supporting clients to make suitable investment decisions

- Writing of report to provide deeper insight with regards to the working of the company. The report includes visit note, initiating coverage, result update, visit update, IPO note, and con call update

Profile :

The person :

This is a position that requires self-motivated talent with concrete experience in the equity research to be able to consistently deliver high-quality work under rapid moving and pressurized environment.

Education & Experience :

- CA or MBA + CFA will be an advantage

- Minimum of 3 years or above "banking sector" equity research experience from relevant backgrounds is a must.

- Numerical minded, competent on demonstrating accounting & financial analytical skills.

- Excellent command in spoken and written English is essential.
