We are a leading investment bank having global presence. We are looking for an Associate to be a part our Institutional Research desk. His/her primary role would be focussed on the strategy, while the secondary role would involve tracking the Indian IT sector.

Primary role: Strategy Associate

Secondary role: IT sector associate

Skills and Experience:

- Minimum 1yr of experience in equity research with a strong knowledge of finance and capital markets

- Familiarity with downloading Bloomberg data onto excel and other databases like Capitaline, CMIE etc is an absolute must

- Good sense of representing ideas, themes and data into exhibits

- Good feel for the equity markets and an ability to gradually generate ideas on his/her own

- Ability and willingness to hard code; understanding of how to balance cash flow and balance sheets in excel without intervention

Key Responsibilities

- To track, understand and analyze themes running across Indian equity markets

- Maintaining an extensive sector related database

- Meet corporates in IT sector as well as attend analyst meets and conferences to expand his knowledge horizon

- Respond to client requests on equity strategy

- Assisting the analyst in prepare investment research reports, presentations and other reports like industry analysis, market scenario analysis etc

- Preparing the morning note and working on financial models
