Equity Research Analyst - Indian Stock Market - CA

1. Equity Research as a buy-side / sell- side analyst on Indian Stock Market.

2. Building financial models and doing forensic audit of numbers.

3. Understanding business drivers and identifying investment opportunities.

4. Running screeners for identifying good businesses/growing businesses (Bottom up approach) and understanding theme/predicting growing sector based on macro-economic indicators (Top- Down).

5. Writing and publishing reports of the portfolio companies to the clients.

6. Writing and publishing news of the portfolio companies and their respective sectors every week for updating relationship managers and regional heads about the portfolio companies.

7. Should be aware of accounting standards and should have ability to understand aggressive and conservative accounting principles.

8. Should be able to read balance sheet, profit and loss and cash flow to make necessary adjustments. Do various ratio analysis.
