Equity Research Analyst - Buy Side - BFS

About the Company : Its a family office of a leading Business Group; The fund size is approximately Rs 500 Cr.

Location : Lower Parel, Mumbai

Experience Required : 2-5 years

Job Description :

1. Function as Research Analyst for investments by the proprietary desk

2. Track and seek opportunities in listed & unlisted companies for equity investments and provide inputs.

3. Prepare equity research reports based on fundamental analysis of companies.

4. Conduct financial valuation/ forecasting on companies based on modelling techniques viz; DCF, Relative valuation, SOTP,P/E method etc.

5. Interact with analysts and management of companies for analysis of financial prospects.

6. Preparation of Research notes for companies raising funds through IPOs/FPO/Private placements

Requirements :

1. MBA / CA/ CFA

2. Interest in and knowledge of equities and functioning of markets

3. 2-5 years years experience in capital market related activity, mainly one involving research and analytics.

4. Experience in Investment Banking domain or Broking firm.

5. Preferably knowledge & hands-on in Bloomberg / Reuters Systems.
