Equity Manager

An Equity Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing equity portfolios, making investment decisions, and performing in-depth financial analysis to ensure the portfolio meets the organization's objectives. This role involves research, risk management, and maintaining strong relationships with other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Portfolio Management: Oversee and manage equity portfolios, including monitoring, analyzing, and making buy/sell decisions on stocks and securities.

- Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough research and financial analysis of companies, industries, and market trends to make informed investment decisions.

- Risk Management: Implement strategies to minimize risk while maximizing returns on investments.

- Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date on market trends, economic conditions, and geopolitical factors that may affect the equity markets.

- Client Interaction: Communicate portfolio performance and market insights to clients or internal stakeholders.

- Performance Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on portfolio performance, investment strategies, and market conditions.

- Compliance & Regulations: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards in all investment activities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (Master's or MBA is a plus).

- Strong understanding of financial markets, securities, and investment strategies.

- Proficiency in financial modeling and using investment management software.

- Analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial statements and economic indicators.

- Previous experience in investment management, equity analysis, or related roles (typically 3-5 years or more).

- Strong communication and presentation skills.
