Equity Analyst - Family Office (5-18 yrs)

About the Company: We are a single family office operating out of Mumbai. The family office structure is to actively manage investments across public equity (through in-house direct, Mutual Funds, PMSs and AIFs) and private equity. We are involved deeply within Indian financial markets and are looking to participate in the global investment markets gradually.

We are currently expanding and looking for Analyst with following core competencies:

1. Minimum of 5 years work experience having worked in the investment team of family office investments (or) non-discretionary advisory set-up (or) PMSs (or) AIFs (or) Mutual Funds

2. Keen and fluent understanding of Indian markets, sectors and stocks is a must. Proven ability to spot stock ideas quickly and ahead of time will be key skill set.

3. Knowledge and understanding about various investment products in India is essential.

4. Keen and quick learner with strong analytical skill, ability to draw insights, and present actionable thoughts / takeaways in a clear manner.

5. Mind-set of owning the work, and ensuring its accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and collect key market data points and discuss the same with the investment team to form and monitor investment strategy.

2. Analyse publicly listed companies to look for new investment opportunities.

3. Regularly monitor financial portfolio performance including Direct Equity / PMS / AIF / MF.

4. Prepare investment performance report across Fund Managers / Products in the market to draw peer comparisons and benchmarking reports, so that effective investment decisions can be taken.

5. Should have an ability to continuously monitor and analyse various MFs / PMSs / AIFs in the portfolios and identify individual stock level issues/opportunities. Should have the ability to assess the overall functioning of the fund managers across MFs / PMSs / AIFs and internally highlight the key findings so that portfolio performance can be improved.

6. Regularly follow-up and stay-in-touch with advisors / fund managers and organize meetings on periodical basis (or) as need arises.

7. Actively contribute in periodic in-depth overall portfolio review along with preparing minutes of the meeting.

8. Evaluation / Screening of new products / funds across listed public market space.
