Role: Web Analyst Requirements - 2-5 years of relevant professional experience conducting digital analytics or working in another analytical field with a demonstrated passion for digital. - Strong analytic and technical thought process and ability to interpret findings. - Effective communicator via both written and spoken word. - Web analytic understanding of tools. For example Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics - The advanced level user in Excel: pivot tables, charts, v-lookups, and dashboard creation. - A basic understanding of statistical analysis and research methodologies. - Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a quantitative field such as economics, statistics, mathematics, marketing or psychology. - A master's degree in business administration, statistics, or any other related field is preferred but not required. Job Functions - Pull data from various web analytics tools and formulate PowerPoint reports on digital performance. - Responsible for end-to-end reporting performance data pulling, data aggregation, analysis, powerpoint formatting and insight generation - In all PowerPoint deliverables, there will be an opportunity and an expectation for the candidate to make recommendations for improvement to help drive the client's business forward. - Owner of data-intensive spreadsheets and powerpoint presentation - QA (Quality Assurance) on tagging to make sure this it is implemented and firing correctly - Implement tagging through tag management systems via writing business rules. This candidate will not be required to write JavaScript or actually place the code on the page. Rather just to focus on writing the rules in the system. - Other deliverables include website analytics audits to make sure clients are set up for successful web analytics tracking. Skills - Deep experience with website tracking tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics / Site Catalyst is preferred. - Expert experience in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint - Strong experience in data visualization in Powerpoint a plus - Ability to organize and mine large sets of data for insights. - Experience analyzing digital marketing data and providing insights and recommendations - Strong understanding of Paid Search, Organic Search, Display (Banners), Social Channel and Multi-Channel performance reporting - Familiarity with digital media tools (Dart, Atlas) or social media analytics tools (Facebook Insights, Twitter, and Pinterest Analytics) is preferred. - Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work on multiple projects over the course of a day. - Experience with tag management systems (Adobe Tag Manager, Google Tag Manager, etc.) is preferred. Along with an ability to QA tags through web debuggers. - Moderate experience with email delivery and reporting tools such as DREAMmail or ExactTaget is preferred. - Familiarity with statistical software such as SAS or SPSS is preferred but not required. - Familiarity with databases (what they are, how they are structured and used) is preferred but not required. - Team player with an ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment; ability to work effectively with diverse teams including statistical, technical, creative and marketing resources. - Demonstrates an ability to think outside the box and take initiative upon themselves in order to solve problems as they arise. - Familiarity with statistical software and data manipulation tools such as SAS, SQL, R, or SPSS is preferred but not required. - Familiarity with databases (what they are, how they are structured and used) is preferred but not required.
