Brief Description :

The Sr. Director of Engineering will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of managers, architects, program managers and principal engineers in building the Yodlee's API platform and creating best Developer experience which is the foundation for every Yodlee product. This person will be closely working with the product owner and sales to directly drive business results.

Responsibilities:

Primary responsibility includes :

- Building a World class Engineering Team and inculcate culture of innovation

- Focus on high Quality delivery on time and in budget

- Manage/handle multiple critical projects

- Maintaining good and influential relationship with peers

- Communication with management, peers and business

- Drive the standards and delivery of our latest API platform

- Deliver best experience to our internal and external developer community

- Part of India management team

Skillset and Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Hands-on experience developing API platform especially in the financial services industry

- Technical Expertise in web based development using Java, JEE, Node.js, SOA, RDBMS, NoSql, messaging & notifications and Frameworks like Spring, Hibernate etc..

- Experience with and Ability to understand complex technical systems and architecture.

- Experience delivering release objectives in a variety of methodologies including agile methodologies such as Scrum and Test driven development

- Aware of latest technology trends

- Results-oriented, self-motivated, and a strong leader

- Strong written and oral communication and persuasion skills

- Strong business, project management and operational skills

- Outstanding quantitative/analytical skills and attention to detail

- Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization including senior management, business, partners and vendors

Education: BE / MS in Computer Science or equivalent

Experience: 15+ years of Software Engineering experience including 6+ years managing large (30+ people) international teams
