The Role:
An Entity Consolidation Specialist is responsible for managing the consolidation of financial statements from multiple subsidiaries or entities within an organization, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting. Key responsibilities and qualifications for this role include
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Consolidation: Lead the monthly consolidation of subsidiary financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Intercompany Transactions: Review and manage intercompany transactions and eliminations to ensure accurate consolidated financial results.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare consolidated financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders, including management and regulatory bodies.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements, maintaining the integrity of consolidated financial records.
- Audit Coordination: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to consolidated financial statements.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the consolidation process.
Skills Required:- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in consolidation software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), as well as advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex financial data and ensure accurate consolidation.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial record-keeping and reporting.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members, management, and external parties.

Qualifications & Experience:Educational Background: Qualified accountant - CA
Experience: Minimum 6 years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on financial consolidation and reporting. Must have working exposure to onshore geographies.
