Enterprise Infrastructure Architect - IT

Purpose of the Job:

Develop Transformation Strategy, high level Business Case and articulate the value of Transformational Change to IT Executive Leadership in customer organizations at levels up to and including the Chief Information Officer (CIO).

- Lead Transformation Planning leveraging inventory and assessment of the current state considering Data Management, Application and Infrastructure dependencies, compliance and security requirements, application portability, target IT Delivery models, available consolidation enabling technologies, including but not limited to: IT and Cloud Workflow Automation, Virtualization, Domains, Containers, Clustering and HA/DR.

- Travel 70 to 80% across India or aboard.

Key out put:

- Recommend facilities ( IT and NON IT) upgrades and/or participate in Data Center designs based on data center assessment and capacity requirements.

- Prioritize the transformation/consolidation/optimization opportunities into a recommended Transformation Roadmap. Assist with creation of Return on Investment and Total Cost of Ownership models.

- Lead the development of a high level integrated architecture roadmap by defining requirements, creating a high level design, estimate sizing, creating functional build specifications, and identifying migration strategies.

- Lead Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to uncover and plan for server, OS, Virtualization, Network, Storage, IT or Cloud Services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) or other specific dependencies.

- Lead development of the detailed design, project plan, transformation/migration strategy, and acceptance test plans

- Handle Multiple Opportunity at the same Time.

- Lead the implementation of the transformation/consolidation/optimization plan. Hold meetings with the Project Manager, technologists, and system administrators to schedule, organize, and resolve technical issues. - Create and Manage Reusable Solution Templates

- Respond to Third party RFP or Customer Requirements with comprehensive solutions

- Create RFP for consulting opportunity and manage the RFP response life cycle

- Adhere to the timelines provided by the Sales and Account teams

- Create new Solution Consulting Framework for Transformation and integration deals. Work with Bid management teams and prepare Contractual Documents

- Identify and Work with Third party vendors to outsource the services which Organisation cannot deliver

- Identify regional Third party on a ongoing basis and also provide inputs for building in-house capability.

Manage the Opportunity Tracker and Timesheets for MIS Tracking and Reporting. Travel to Customer Place across India and Global for Consulting and Presentation in a Short Notice. Transition the solution smoothly to the delivery teams.

Qualifications:

- Education should include a Technical degree or equivalent experience in Consulting and/or IT Industry. Minimum 14-16 years IT experience is required. - Experience supporting Mission Critical Business Applications and Functions

Skills:

Excellent written and oral communication skills; Excellent listening, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language - Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities; Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem solving environment - The EA should have knowledge across Enterprise IT with broad knowledge of transformation, consolidation, migration and optimization of Data Center Facilities, Compute Infrastructure, IT Services Strategy, Design Transition and Operation, Cloud Services in Private, Hosted Private and Public Cloud Delivery Models and inclusive of IaaS, PaaS and SaaS, IT Service Management/ITIL v2/v3, High Availability and Disaster Recovery planning, Feasibility Analysis and Business Case Development, IT Strategy Development and IT Governance. - Gather the requirements from the customer end to end

Compenent Acrchitecture SAP and related technologies or combination of any. IT Sizing and Capacity Requirements across the technology stack including licensing of software and database.

Proficiency level: 5 - Optimizing the solution commercials without compromising on the customer requirement and compliance aspects.

Proficiency level: 5 - Proficiency on communicating architectural decisions, plans, goals and solution strategies to the customer. Explain value proposition of similar engagements to the customer CxO level / customer consultants.
