Job Description :-

Job Purpose

To track and develop the Application portfolio, applying application life cycle strategies for acquisition, enhancement, replacement, consolidation and retirement of applications, as well as ensuring architectural reuse, consistency and integrity within the application portfolio

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Technical Need Analysis (Application & Technology)

- Understand the requirements and maturity of IT architecture of partner organizations & design the Application requirements to ensure alignment with the same

- Determine the most appropriate Applications to achieve optimal performance and scalability

Design of Application & Technology Architecture

- Identify techniques and technologies that should be applied at the Application Level; define the system and operational requirements that the Technical infrastructure must support

- Design and detail the Application Architecture for project solutions as part of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

- Participate in Application/ Project design and review sessions in collaboration with other Architects to validate and ensure the that application design is in conformance with the Enterprise Security, Information and Infrastructure Architecture

- Develop and maintain current state architecture, future state models, and transition steps for Applications and identify potential application reuse opportunities

Support to Program Management Unit (PMU*)

- Resolve the potential implications and conflicts between the Application architecture, with any constraints imposed by the Application (logical/physical) design to the architecture; evaluate viable alternative approaches and recommendations in coordination with the vendor

- Provide technical support to the PMU Team, team from the vendors etc. in terms of implementing the blueprint, as and when required
