I have an excellent job opportunity with one of our renowned client company for the role of ENO3/AVP PeopleSoft General Ledger.

Job description:-

The CFO division has an essential role in supporting the businesses and providing a control infrastructure.

The Department:

At Finance Change we work across the entire CFO division to ensure that we execute the strategic design and implementation of any major changes to our processes and systems.

In partnership with our key stakeholders, we work to create cutting-edge business solutions using our deep functional expertise.

We aim to deliver strategic initiatives using leading project management and business analysis as we pursue our goal of protecting and enhancing shareholder value through optimizing the use of our financial resources.

The Project:

GL Strategic solution is a key initiative, part of the overall Group Finance book of work. The project seeks to expand the GL, enrich GL with data and also enable T+1 view of the balance sheet in PeopleSoft 9.2.

Main Duties/Responsibilities of the Role:-

- Experience Range - 10+ years

- To work as a Lead Business Analyst within one of the work streams in GL project

- Responsible for the gathering of business requirements, documentation of the business requirements including putting forward recommendations for solutions, where required

- Preparation of functional specifications and use cases for the delivery of the business requirements

- Preparation of test plans, test cases, coordinating with users and IT during the testing phase

- Execution of specific test cases

- Preparation of the documentation and steps for deployment, including user training where required

- Responsible for handling stakeholders- requirements, status reports and project related documentation

Special Circumstances:

There will be periods where extended working hours and/or weekend work will be required to meet deadlines.

Qualifications - External

Education and Professional Qualifications:

Essential:

- Basic Degree in Finance / Accounting / IT/ Engineering

Desirable:

- PeopleSoft certifications

- MBA (Finance)/CA/ICWA/CPA/ACCA

Work Experience / Background:

Essential:

- Experience in accounting, or has a good understanding of financial/management accounting and has worked extensively with users in this area

- Experience in problem solving with end users

- Strong analytical skills

- PeopleSoft Financials Upgrade Implementation or Support experience - General Ledger & Reporting

Desirable:

- Experience on PeopleSoft 9.2 version

Technical / Business Skills & Knowledge:

Essential:

- Functional experience with PeopleSoft Financials

Desirable:

- Advanced Excel user

Other Requirements:

Essential:

- Strong communication skills

- Strong organization skills

- Has initiative and is pro-active

- Good presentation/documentation skills

- Ability to work well under pressure

- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities
