Responsibilities: - Responsible for the overall software development life cycle. - Own the complete delivery of the product(s) roadmap deliverables. - You take ownership of critical platform components and &lt; build/manage&gt; a team to achieve target goals. - You work with an extremely talented pool of engineers to define their career path and guide them through it. - You manage multiple projects with technical and business stakeholders to deliver maximum value. - You build a long term, strategic vision for your team and help them achieve it by iterative, tactical wins. - You help foster and uphold EnKash Values into the team. - Take responsibility for the overall planning, execution, and success of complex technical projects. - Contribute technically to projects, review accuracy of deliverables and participate architecture decisions. - Partner closely with Product Management, Program Management and other Engineering teams to deliver high impact projects. - Management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments. - Manage the day-to-day activities of the engineering team within an Agile/Scrum environment. - Contribute substantially to innovation and overcome technology limitations to deliver on customer experience. - Report on the status of development, quality, operations, and system performance to management. Requirements: - Solid understanding of best practices for engineering process, code quality, build/release pipelines and live operations. - Expertise in architecting distributed scalable products using micro-services architecture. - 10+ plus years of strong hands-on expertise in Java, Angular and Microservices. - At least 5 years managing software development teams including hands-on architectural or distributed systems experience. - Experience with MySQL, NoSQL. - Familiarity with agile development methods and tools. - A strong track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional, projects and bringing in and growing engineering talent. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences. - An entrepreneurial spirit combined with strong programming and product management skills.
