- This position is responsible for making US investment decisions and helping to carry investment activities on behalf of an individual based in the US. - In this role you will be responsible for undertaking fundamental analysis of equities, researching industries as well as overall economic and corporate trends. This includes building financial models to analyze company revenue, cash flow and earnings. - You will assist in the development of individuals valuations, collaborate on the presentation of investment recommendations to the team and support client service efforts. - Duties include consulting and advising clients to develop investment objectives aimed to increase investment performance, creating reports on investment activity and performance, communicate effectively with clients regarding investment accounts, market conditions and economic trends. Responsibilities : - Equity (Public listed) Analysis. - Conduct research, Analysis (Fundamental / Technical) and due diligence of a variety of Public Equities investment opportunities; develop complex dynamic financial models and valuation analysis, including DCF Model, Dividend Discount model, comparable analysis on corporate financial statements to assess potential earnings for equities under consideration. - Share insightful and timely company-specific and thematic daily commentaries and reports that showcase sector expertise and insight, providing opinions and action-oriented ideas. - Clear presentation and active participation in group-wide discussions via conference calls, emails, calls &amp; chats daily. Assist with drafting research reports and publications to be presented to management or shareholders. - Perform related ad-hoc projects. - Monitoring Equities Investments - Analyze and communicate company earnings and events that move listed share prices. - Monitor ongoing financial performance of portfolio equities. Update financial models and other analysis tools to help with communicating rationale behind change in investment view. Cross Department activities: - Participate in and contribute to weekly/ Bi-weekly/ Monthly/ Quarterly departmental meetings and investment recommendation meetings. - Coordinate with the Controlling team for day-to-day reporting lines and Position and P&amp;L reconciliation needs - Qualifications for Portfolio Fundamental Analyst - Master's degree in business, finance, investment, or a related field preferred - Proven experience in investment and financial assets management as an analyst or assistant manager in a financial institution environment. - Ability to show track record of success/Recommendations on recent analysis/research on public equities (if any) - Strong understanding of investment strategies and risk management - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - High interest in and enthusiastic about economic and financial market trends - Exceptional customer service with a client focus - Able to sit in front of the computer for long hours at a time.
