Engineering Manager - Online/Internet

Main responsibilities include :

- Creating a product plan and roadmap and secure sign-off from cross organizational stakeholders.

- Invent and design techniques to consume and normalize machine learning outputs across the company for marketing purposes.

- Exert technical influence over multiple teams and lead on most demanding cross-organizational and cross functional projects.

- Functionally decompose complex problems into simple, straight-forward solutions. Fully and completely understand system interdependencies and limitations.

- Hire and develop a world class technical team that has expertise in diverse range of technologies from front-end UX through backend services on AWS.

- Reporting on status of development, quality, operations, and system performance to management.

- Thinks strategically, and executes methodically and tactically.

Basic Qualification :

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline

- Significant industry experience Including 3+ years of people management experience, leading multiple teams of technical professionals (software developers, development managers, and/or technical program managers).

- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in agile and fast paced environment.

- Previous development and object-oriented design experience in Java, C++, and/or other modern programming language

- A deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, and a track record of shipping software on time.

Preferred Qualification :

- Ability to demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations

- Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams

- Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines, including driving teams to meet deadlines

- Strong written and oral communication skills

- Ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
