Job Description : An Engineering manager in ODM organization is expected to be proficient in designing, development and maintenance of Data Warehouses, Data Marts, BI and analytical solutions.

- Engineering manager would constantly evaluate new ETL, BI and Analytics tools/methodologies for possible adoption.

- Has thorough understanding of the data mining and analytics processes that could be leveraged while building Data Warehouses and marts.

- Strategic focus and create plan to increase business value and assume responsibility of end to end execution

- Reviews the design for big projects and provide meaningful feedback to team

- Develops innovative approaches

- Forecasts and plans resource requirements

- Authorizes deviations from standards

- May lead functional or segment teams or projects

- Provides explanations and information to others on the most complex issues

Required Qualifications :

- B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc (full time education) with 10-13 years of relevant experience

- Deep understanding of UNIX environment and how to integrate various ETLs and DBMS components using unix shell scripts

- Deep understanding of SAS architecture

- Good understanding on SAS grid architecture

- Unix commands and shell script

- SAS modelling

- Good Understanding on BigData

- Expert knowledge in data management and ETL concepts, Knowledge of RDBMS like Teradata and Netezza including load and unload utilities

- DWH Design and architecture

- DBMS architecture and load and unload utilities

- Data Analysis using SQL and ability to identify patterns through data

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Good problem solving skills

- Working with partners to execute tactical and strategic goals for the pillar and larger organization
