Engineering Manager

Job Description

The manufacturing manager has overall responsibility for all manufacturing activities in factories. S/he is responsible for delivering production commitments within the quality specifications and costs standards determined. The manufacturing manager is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment. S/he will strive toward continuous improvement in production based on the company’s Manufacturing Excellence guidelines and TPM methodology.

 - Meet the Line Fill / CCFOT plans

 - Maintain Depot DPT

 - Maintain production compliance

 - Maintain network OTIF

 - Responsible for TPM scores and nurturing TPM culture and drive JH and Circle meetings in true spirit

 - OEE compliance

 - Manufacturing input to all activities in order to build supply chain capability for: innovation projects, capability projects

 - Accountable for smooth operations in QA

 - Rolling out all innovations FTR, plant expansion

 - Executing development strategies for subordinates

 - Liaising with statutory bodies like FDA, Pollution Board etc

 - Maintain Labour discipline effecting the smooth functioning and also creating personal safety issues

 - Optimise manpower and equipment usage to deliver full plan compliance
