Engineering Manager

An engineering manager is responsible for ensuring that key projects and engineering duties are fulfilled. They are responsible for solving any engineering issue that comes up in a project. A few of the main duties of an engineering manager are answering technical questions, proposing budgets for projects, training new employees, and working with various other departments. They also have to prepare reports on the progress of any project. Major skill- is effectively delegate the work. Another skill is problem solving as the engineering manager will need to be able to address any issues that come up.

Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain ed-tech products across multiple platforms (Web, Mobile and Desktop) Propose and manage development costs

- Work very closely with Product, marketing and customer experience teams to build core product functions

- Provide clear instruction to Engineering Team

- Propose, implement and Own technology implementation Requirements

- 5-8 years of full stack product engineering experience across multiple platforms in a SaaS or a e-commerce company

- Must have built, managed and scaled high performance dev teams

- Ability to clearly communicate with internal teams

- Experience with video processing is a huge plus

- Interpersonal skills to manage a team on engineers

- Ability to give constructive criticism

- Ability to make decisions quickly
